Training Aim:
The aim is to provide support to individuals to further develop their skills and abilities. The modules are designed to develop their capability to integrate in a new learning environment and/or the workplace and to provide trainees with the skills necessary to: - Work as an IT technician in a modern office or factory environment

Programme objectives:
On completion of the programme participants will have: - An understanding of the computer and its environment
- An understanding of and practical experience in the use of common generic applications
- Adequately diagnose and repair PCs
- Configure and install, hardware and operating systems
- Trouble shoot and upgrade personal computers
- Build and troubleshoot a LAN (hardware software technician)
- Completed a planned experiential learning activity as an integral part of an educational process allowing learners to learn from ongoing, meaningful and active involvement in a specific work environment
