HiTec  Education Centre was established in 1998 in Co. Galway.  Since then, due to the success of our proven training techniques, communications expertise and top quality services, the college has widely expanded. 

The systems of teaching include tutor-led training, computer-based training (CBT) and self directed learning through assignments. Our unique training approach combining CBT courseware with on-going tutor support provides the student with a high quality, flexible, customer driven training method that offers exceptional value for money.

From the beginning, HiTec has attracted students of all ages, levels and nationalities.  HiTec proactively maintains both a professional service and atmosphere while also providing a home away from home.  All facilities and equipment are kept up to date and of the highest specification.

The founding principles of HiTec are based on the provision of a quality caring service that is highly effective in its delivery.  This is achieved through the commitment of the organisation to an up to date training approach, external accreditation, quality standards and staff development.

HiTec Education Centre is registered with FETAC to offer programmes leading to FETAC awards in the National Framework of Qualifications and has agreed its quality assurance procedures with FETAC. 

 HiTec is an authorised ECDL training and test centre.

 HiTec is a FAS approved training centre. 

The College is located in Galways centre, right in the heart of this vibrant city.  Situated on Lombard Street, opposite the well known St Nicholas' Church and the weekly Saturday Farmers market.
