HiTec welcomes students from all over the world. If an interested student is an EU citizen then a study visa is not required. However students outside the EU will most likely require a visa to stay and study in Ireland for longer than 3 months. For details on the courses that will permit a student to work and study please enquire at our main office. The following information is for guideline purposes only and all students are advised to consult with their local Consulate or Embassy for further information. Visas Application: To apply for a study visa, the student must prepare a number of documents with the initial application. This application should them be submitted to the nearest Consulate or Embassy, or the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin. Students can access a list of Irish Consulates and Embassies by visiting www.foreignaffairs.gov.ie General Information on the Granting of Visas: The length of time required to process a visa varies from country to country. Generally visas are processed within 6-10 weeks from the submission date. It should be noted that all student visa applications must be referred to the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.

An application for a course can be made using the College application form available either online or from the office in hard copy format . Once the application has been reviewed by the college director the learner will be notified as to whether they have been accepted. The College may at this time require more information.
The next stage is Enrolment which takes place at an agreed time between the Director and the learner. The Learner will need to have with them a letter for proof of address, a letter of attendance from a previous college if relevant, they will be asked for their personal details, address, date of birth and the fees for their course.
Once the learner has enrolled they will be given a date for Registration. |
